I'm back, and not a moment too soon! We had a great time in Utah and Idaho, but as always we are glad to be back. I'll catch up on the vacation blogging later.
I know you are all dying for details... so without further ado I give you:
The Righteous Richland 2007 Triathlon.

The shore start.

Just keep swimming!! (Don't bother looking for me in this picture, I'm pretty sure I'm much further behind.)

The FINISH Line!!!
I had such a fun time (except for the transition to running where I thought I might not be able to take another step)!! In all honesty Randi I just keep thinking about you running your marathon - you were my motivation to keep going!
I'm so glad that I followed through on this goal- it was such a great feeling to cross the finish line! Thanks for all your encouraging words! Thanks Karen for getting up early to swim.
Thanks Jeremy for rearranging life so I could spend the time I needed getting ready and for being the supportive husband I needed!

ReplyDeleteHeather you are amazing! Seriously.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! Isn't that the coolest feeling to cross the finish line after doing something BIG with athletics? I _love!_ that feeling. When I finished the Park City, UT marathon, it was one of the most incredible feelings/experiences of my life.
