The topper was created by the florist because of time constraints, but I'm pretty happy with the bottom two layers. The crazy part is that my SIL picked up the flowers to deliver them to the reception and as luck would have it they were rearended on the drive down! So flower arranging on the cake was created quickly DURING the reception. But, hey, it wouldn't be memorable if it weren't crazy right?
I'm posting lots of pics of the kiddos on the family blog- be sure to check it out!
The cake looks amazing Heather. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linds. My grandma did the actual cake, but the flowers were a first for me so I wanted to post. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks awesome! You are so talented!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work!
ReplyDeleteThe cake turned out beautiful. You did a great job with the flowers. Another thing to add to your list of talents.
ReplyDeleteGreat job! It looks aweseome! We did something similar for my sister... the guy brought the cake and there was NOTHING on it! Just 3 cakes frosted white. I had made all of the corsages, boutineers and bouquets, so we ran home, got all the extra flowers and went crazy! It looked pretty good when we got done! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are a miracle woman. Those look great.
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful! Flowers are always so hard for me in times like that, someone else's flowers, and you hope they like them. But you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI would like my engraved invite to your family blog, I clicked on the thing to email you but it didn't work.
