Life is Changed


All because I finally got a GREAT flat iron. The Wal*Mart cheapo I have been nursing along just was not cutting it anymore.
Yeah, if you are thinking "How lame, that's not life changing." You obviously have never dealt with wack-o curly hair. Yeah, my hair is nothing short of insane. But this little number makes it super-straight in a matter of mins. My flat ironing time is now down to about 20 mins, rather than the 45 it used to take. I'm in heaven.

And the plain black iron wasn't in stock, so I went with cherries.

Kaden's vote was for the pink camo iron, but I needed something a little more sublte.

It may not be the exciting life change you were guessing, but this is my life... flat irons and pregnancy. Jealous??

    I think it is life changing. I was ecstatic to finally graduate to a ceramic one awhile back!. Anywho, I am living in an itty-bitty town called yucaipa. It's about 15 miles from San Bernardino, 1 hr. from San Diego and 1 hr. from L.A.

    Love the new iron with cherries. So cute. I've always wanted curly hair. I bet it takes forever for you to straighten those curls you've got.

    Ok, hopefully you don't think I'm so rude. I was on the phone with my sister this morning at swim lessons. That's the thing I hate about those ear pieces. I'll see you tomorrow.

    I read there was a survey that asked women "if you could only have one device, what would it be?"

    you would think the answer would have been a cell phone or a laptop, but no. The number one answer was a flat iron. Totally necessary. :)

    I totally agree with you on having a great flat iron. It makes a huge difference. I don't think I've ever seen you with straight hair. You'll have to post some pictures now of before and afters!

    I have a flat iron, but I don't use it very often... maybe I will tomorrow! It is nice when you have the things you need/want so that your hair looks good!!

    From one curly coifed head to another...Flat irons are a MUST.
    I would be a Shirley Templed disaster without my little friend the flat iron!!

    Oh I need a good new flat iron. I will admit, I still use my WalMart cheap-o one...and I like the cherries too!

    It was great to see you on Sunday! Even if it was for 10 seconds :) We will definitely have to get together when I am back down in a few weeks.

    I can more than understand this post! I have had crazy (afro when short) hair my whole life and for my 21st last year my boyfriend bought me a GHD. I went from a 3 hour straightening session to 30 mins.

    It. is. life. changing.

    Full stop.
