This weekend Jeremy took the kids to a Grand Opening of McDonald's. Kaden was fascinated with the "pocket rocket" they were giving away. They entered the drawing and amazingly enough we got a call today. We won! So now this is sitting in our living room.
{can't you just hear my enthusiasm?}

Unfortunately today we also lost.... our job. I know, how cruel is the timing? The upside {if you can call it that} is that the computer is now available for blogging. Yeah, that silver lining is pretty dim, but I've gotta have a "bright side" to look on.
I am so sorry about the job loss. If you need anything, please let me know!
ReplyDeleteLove the Pocket Rocket. Do you think Pocket Edward could borrow it?
Yay for amazing weekends!
Yikes! That totally stinks!!! I'm so sorry. Kind of takes the fun out of winning a pocket rocket, doesn't it? What exactly IS a pocket rocket??? And where is there a new McDonald's? I am so out of the loop.
ReplyDeleteOh no! that's horrible. I hope something works out for you soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, Heather, I'm so sorry! That's awful. I hope Jeremy's able to find something soon. Let me know if there is anything I can do. You know I love ya!

That's a huge bummer about the job! Let us know if we can help in any way and we will keep our eyes and ears wide open for anything.
ReplyDeleteDang that stinks! Crossing fingers and saying prayers.
ReplyDeleteYou just put me on an emotional roller coaster Heather. Way cool about the bike! But I am so sorry about the job loss. Way to be positive about your silver lining even if it is a dim one.
ReplyDeleteWell if all else fails you can put all your stuff in storage and come live in Grandma's back bedroom and Kadster and Brynn and stay in the 3rd bedroom downstairs with us.:)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the job loss. I hope something turns up soon.
ReplyDeleteCrap.
ReplyDeleteThat's all I can think of.
You rock at the silver lining thing.
Sorry to hear about the job loss. As you know we have been through that twice and it sucks! But the second time wasn't as hard initially since I knew we had suffered and come out of one already.
ReplyDeleteWishing Jeremy success luck in finding a new job! "You can do it!"

ReplyDeleteLove the pocket rocket though :)
I just found your blog this morning and read that you lied wicked. If you are opposed to gay marriage and cherish family values, please do not promote this play. It was written by a gay activist and is promoting the idea that something shouldn't be labeled wicked just because it is different. In the book elphaba is bisexual and has feelings for glinda. It is cleverly disguised in the play, but is obvious if you are familiar with the trashy book. Trust me when I tell you the creative forces behind this entertainment are truly wicked and want to deceive even the very elect.
