Word of the Weekend

dis⋅in⋅gen⋅u⋅ous [dis-in-jen-yoo-uhs] –adjective

lacking in frankness, candor, or sincerity; falsely or hypocritically ingenuous; insincere in other words a cop saying "I'm sorry to hear that" after asking your place of employment and still ripping that ticket off the pad. ...grrr...

  3. That is so mean, and it sounds like disingenuous fits him perfectly.

I probaby shouldn't tell you this, but when we got laid off, Kyle got pulled over for going 5 over (lame), and the cop didn't write us a ticket. I started crying and telling him thank you so much because we just lost our job. Did you pull out the waterworks?

  9. My favorite stupid cop line..."have a better day" while handing me the ticket. Every cop in Utah seems to say it. If you'd been here I would have called in a few favors. Sorry :(

  10. Oh, don't even get me started on getting tickets. We got ourselves a ticket for the stupidest thing ever this weekend. So sorry to hear about that! You guys definitely have tons of good news coming your way. I can feel it...
