It started out like this
and progressed to this
and then went to this
and quickly nose-dived to this
but luckily ended up like this.
*Note to readers: If you ever want to feel like a crappy parent go ahead and say yes when you take your 3 year-old daughter to the mall and she tells you she wants to get her ears pierced. Trust me, lots of people staring while your little girl screams at the top of her lungs will instantly humble you and make you rethink your decision making skills. Good times at FHE!
She is adorable. I love the last picture of her smiling. I'm impressed that she wanted them pierced. You are so fun Heather!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are so cute! I'm impressed, I didn't have the guts to get my ears pierced until I was 12! I'm glad she loves them though :)
ReplyDeleteIf you ever pierce Ellas, make sure you have two employees there and have them do it at the same time. When I did it at Wally's I would only do kids if someone else was there to help so it was done with one shot. She looks adorable with pierced ears though.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling - people staring at you like you are torchering your child. I had that with Kelsie. Good times. Brin looks adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that last picture of Brynnlee! She looks like she's absolutely beaming because she's so excited. How fun!
ReplyDeleteAudrey had her ears pierced this weekend while our boys were at father and sons. While dads away, the girls will play!
ReplyDeleteBrynnlee looks darling!
What a brave little girl! I was scared to have them done at the age of 12.
ReplyDeleteat least it ended with a smile!
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteHannah just said "why does Brynlee get her ears pierced when she's so much younger than me????"
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather....But Brynlee looks adorable!
I know the feeling. Although when I took Liah, it was 9pm, so there weren't too many people to stare. She looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh the joys of things we do to be beautiful! She is such a doll, I'm glad she's smiling at the end.
ReplyDeleteI had the opposite experience where my daughter was 13 and I was trying to talk her into getting her ears pierced for years! She finally did it, but only because her friend was there. My opinion already doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't allowed to have my ears pierced until I was 18, but I decided to be rebellious and get it done at age 16, muahaha! I would have loved having it done when I was little! :)
ReplyDeleteThose are such fun pictures!!! I didn't get my ears pierced til I was 11, then they grew in and I had to get them re-pierced at like 14. And it hurt both times :)
ReplyDeletelooks like we had twin experiences except Olivia was 5! way to go brynlee she is so brave!!
ReplyDeleteHaven't been blogging for a long time. So much to catch up on! My 10-year-old just got hers pierced for her birthday. She looks so pretty with her earings. Just as your little doll does, too! :)
