Men Who Love Their Wives

This week's cake creations came from the minds of doting husbands. Two husband's wanting to surprise their wives on special occasions.
What screams love more than the carbolicious, sugary goodness of cake?
The first wife recipient has been serving in the Iraq with the Marines for the last 18 months. Her arrival home was a HUGE occasion and her husband celebrated
with a patriotic cake for her welcome home party.
So fun!!
The second love story beings with a Craigslist ad for a couch. When the woman comes to pick up a new couch she picks up a new love as well. To commemorate their special beginning her husband commisioned us to recreate the piece of furniture that kick-started their romance.
Apparently, when the cake was delivered this wife had a hearty laugh!
Here is the picture we had to go off.

How'd we do?

You did great. Hello. That couch from that picture. Even the carpet around the bottom. I love the fringe on the pillows. No detail missed. That is so clever and cute. You need to design Barbie furniture too. I love the flag cake and the story. Heather, are you really pregnant? Just kidding. Your doing great.

The story behind the couch cake is too funny. How in the world did you get some cake to look like a couch? Was there a mold or something? It looks amazing, seriously like little doll furniture! Too cute. The other cake and story is too sweet! I love the USA stuff on there! You guys are awesome!

I am a fan of both cakes but especially the couch cake. Before I read the explanation, i figured it was in celebration of couch potatoes (that's why I would need a couch cake)!!
