With Regard to the Baby...

I went to the doctor last Friday and got the update.

No change from last weeks progress, which was not much to write home about anyway. My swelling was ridiculous but Dr. A said I don't have pre-eclampsia {they induced me three weeks early with Brynns for this}. So he ran some blood tests to make sure my liver and kidneys were functioning properly. He said he would have the results by the afternoon and if anything looked off that it would be the last day I was pregnant. They never called, so that means I'm A-OK.

Which is good because Brynns decided to puke all over me Sunday afternoon as I'm walking down the hallway at church. Yeah, there was no sleeping, lots of puking, lots of cleaning carpets, floors, couches, & clothes. But I'm glad I was at home and not at the hospital, because who can take better care of that sick baby than her mama??

And on a final note, if I make it to Sunday still pregnant it will officially be the longest I have ever gone. We'll see what this Friday's appointment has in store for us.

I felt so bad for Brynn on Sunday. I walked out of the RS room just after it had happened. I hope she is feeling better. You are so right, no one can take better care of baby than mama. I am glad you were able to be there for her.

Jacob had an ear infection the night I went into labor with Kayla. I went to the hospital at about 1 AM and an Aunt of mine came over and stayed with Jacob until my Mom got here from Warden which is a 45 min drive. Jacob woke up during that time looking for me becasue he didn't feel well. He went to our bedroom and we were gone. He was very upset. He was almost three at the time. He didn't want anything to do with my Aunt so he cried until my Mom got here. I feel so bad every time I think about this.

You're right, no one can take care of them better, except for maybe their favorite Aunt! (me not Andrea Ü) I can't wait for the kids to come stay with us, the girls are so excited!

I hate the last weeks of pregnancy. Maybe you'll have the baby on Sunday. That's Ty's b-day and I had your same due date. Good Luck and I hope you have her soon. Oh and sorry about the puke all over you. That's just nasty.

I had no idea that Brynnlee got sick at church Sunday. That is awful. Poor girl. And poor you.

Crossing my fingers that baby no-name comes VERY soon!

I had my apt yesterday, no progress whatsoever... so... probably a late baby. But hopefully not :(

Is there anything all of us blog friends can do for you? I really feel for you, that last little bit of being pregnant is so miserable and you're just ready to see your baby already.

You are one of the only people I know that can make your child puking on you and keeping you up all night a positive experience. You are the best!

I hate the last couple weeks! i am sure you are more then ready for this to be done! I am and I am only 30 weeks. I can't call you- I switched my phones and lost your number in the process. so if you get the chance, call me! basically right now I am obsessive when I get Ideas in my head, so if you don't mind calling before baby time..j/k! call when you get a moment though.

How many weeks are you now? At least she wasn't born on Brynlee's birthday! Let's hope she's out before Kaden's :)

Dude, good luck. I so don't envy having a child puke on me.

You must be a strong woman. To be so close to having a baby and also to have sick kids. I love that you look on the bright side by thinking you are lucky to be able to take care of your kids. I probably would have picked being in the hospital and having someone else clean up the throw-ups. Someday I'll be more like you.
