jealousy is bad, babies are good

All week I have been harboring jealous feelings. I will freely admit it.
My SIL's planned c-section occurred this morning. She's known for weeks when her little man would be arriving and I was just the tiniest bit jealous. OK- A LOT JEALOUS. All week I have been thinking "this is the last time Kristen has to do {blank} pregnant" Wah. Wah. Wah. I know, give me a break. All pregnant women get whiny and I'm no exception.
But the clincher was that as she was gloriously getting a baby pried from her belly this morning I was hanging over the toilet. I know, right? How crappy is that timing? Obviously I need to have a talk with this little girl borrowing my body, because shouldn't we be done with this already?
So after I cleaned myself up, got over the shock I walked downstairs to find the most adorable picture texted to my phone. I can't harbor ill feelings any longer. He's just too darn sweet!
Welcome to the world, Breyton!
***In other news the good doc tells me I'm 50% effaced and dilated to a 1... yeah, so no baby this weekend. But a girl can always dream.

Sorry for the spacing, I can not figure out why blogger always jacks up my paragraphs... what am I doing wrong??

It does it to me too, Heather. I always post and then have to go back and edit to make it space correctly. I think it has to do with the html. Normally just going back to edit the post will fix the problem...sometimes it takes 1 or 2 or 12 tries.

Yeah Heather hang in there! I don't know how long it took you to go into labor from where you are right now but it took me another week! You can do this!

We all know the feeling and have been there. I am feeling pretty lucky this time though, I talked my doctor into inducing. October 13 here I come.

Hm . . . jealous is not what I think of when some one says c-section.

Just think, you'll be all healed and she won't be able to lift her laundry.

Wait, now I am starting to get jealous . . .

hang in there you're doing great.

Not jealous of the c-section, just the fact that she KNOWS when the baby is/was coming. I'm a scheduler-type person.

Won't be long. Hang in there. (Sorry that you're having to hang around the toilet more often than you'd like.)

The last few weeks are the worst. I hope that you can have the baby soon!

It is the html, you have to get in there and delete the stuff before the paragraph, and then put it where you want it. That usually does the trick.

Our little Elsabeth came via C Section. Lisa loved every minute of it. Not that she had that hard of a time with the other two girls. She pushed like 3 times, and they came flying out.

Hey Heather, I want to apologize for my remark yesterday. I shouldn't comment when I'm in a bad mood. Being pregnant is hard. Just remember it is worth it!
