Would You Rather...

You know that fun game you play "Would You Rather"? I've got a great one for you! Here goes.

"Would you rather be woken up at 4am by your baby or by your husband?"

Although I have been complaining the last 7 months about Ella waking up constantly I totally would have taken that last night over Jeremy waking me up by saying "I think someone just broke into the Explorer."

Yep, they did. And they bolted with my precious iPod/iTrip as we headed down the stairs. So after the police were called and filed their report it was a while before I could fall back asleep. Beware because the police got a call similar to ours last night just about a mile away. Ugh. On the positive side...

* I followed the prompting to bring my wallet in from the car last night
* I cleaned the car out yesterday, so they didn't make off with our dirty laundry from our trip
* Jeremy woke up before they could nab anything else

Kaden has been asking all morning if the police have caught the bad guys yet. He face looked like I felt when I told him they most likely wouldn't find the bad guys, sheer disappointment.

What?! Bad people really tick me off. (of course probably not as much as they do you right now!)

I'm so glad that you brought your wallet in!

Having things stolen is one of the worst feelings in the world. When I was in college someone broke into my car and took everything - hundreds of dollars worth of CD's, my CD player, they even took my steering wheel cover. How ghetto is that? I would have paid money to see Jeremy bound out your front door and pound those punks. Hopefully your insurance will pay for your lost items and any damage they did.

Isn't it wonderful to see a reward to following a prompting? So many times I follow one and then wonder and wonder what would have happened if I hadn't.

Sorry about your car.

That stinks. The worst is it's probably not even worth it to claim it on your insurance after you have to pay a deductable.

I'll make sure we don't leave any valuables in the car.

That stinks! That happened to us a few years ago. I wasn't smart enough to bring my purse in, and they made off with my digital camera! Of course, they were never found, and we were told they wouldn't really try to catch them. :(

That's horrible! At least you'll get some night drive by's from the police in your neighborhood now. I am so sorry. I cannot comprehend those who do things like that, haven't they ever heard of working for things.

That's horrible :( I really hate when people break into cars/homes. It happened to my parents a few years back and it was horrible. At least you guys woke up before they made off with more!

Not the ipod! Sending sympathy and virtual security blankets your way.

How did Jeremy wake up? Did he just hear something?? That's a bummer about your ipod. Glad they didn't get your wallet. That is good news. OH and the dirty laundry! :)

Let's see... baby or thieves at 4 am? You make these questions TOUGH!

Ugggh. I'm so sorry. The world is getting worse and worse. I'm not sure I'm up to it.

Maybe I should try to think of something more positive to write. If I do, I'll be back.

Long ago, when we lived in Prosser and Shawn was a cop, our car got broken into. Thieves broke the glass and stole a leather pouch full of scriptures;). They thought it was a cd player and CD's in a case. Shawn got his scriptures back after the thieves were arrested in Yakima or somewhere. I still feel bad for the thieves, hopefully they read them...

I would rather sleep like a baby - or better than our babies. I'm so sorry! That sucks...so comforting, I know!

I'll say another little prayer for you. I've been thinking of you guys lots! I just wish I could come up with an awesome job in western KS. I would love to play with you!

You know, having something stolen just feels like you've been violated. It's awful. I'm so sorry. At least you are able to look at the bright side--that's very admirable.

I hope that guy burns in hell.
