This is me throwing my hands up in the air

because this morning the run was so painful. I stopped running and walked. And even walking hurt.

At least I have The Fray to look forward to. Yay Friday.

Running is always painful for me. I'm just impressed you run at all.

But yay for Friday!

I won't lie, I am really jealous that you are going to say The Fray. Love them!

That really sucks that you are in so much pain. I think my friend Harry Potter may know a spell to cure that. I'll let you know:)

Is it shin splints still? Those are painful and bothersome. I admire the fact that you are still out there trying to keep up your running. Hope the Fray makes up for it, love them!

Sorry! It's like you ran 8 miles on Saturday or something! At least the group is back together, right? I really hope you feel better soon.

Have fun at The Fray! I'm only a little bit jealous.

I don't run. Ever. The concept is totally foreign to me :)

The Fray! Sigh... I wanna go. Can I come too? :)

Two steps forward (i.e. 8 miles on Saturday) one step back. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. Don't give up though, you're doing awesome!

I'm glad it's not just me trying to find what to write about!

I'm just super impressed that you can run 8 MILES! The most I've ever run at one time was 5 miles, and I REALLY didn't like it! Today I ran just under 2 miles, and that was enough for this chick, thankyouverymuch! :)

Sure I would do yours. I think it would be fun. Let me know! It seems to be the only creative thing I get done recently.

I love to run, I would do it more if I didn't feel pain...so I never run..so good for you you are still going at it! I agree with the "literature" and twilight comment, but I felt like if I didn't throw it in there there would be some back lash from those who Have read and loved it. There has got to be something out there don't you think?

Heather-
Way to go w/ the running! You'll feel better soon. What in the heck is the FRAY? Doesn't it feel so nice to be done with nursing!!!
I was really excited to read about the job.

I hear ya! That's why I sort of gave up on running. I know, I know, I should get back into it again....maybe...

My daughter ran cross-country the past two years and always got shin splints the first year. Her coach heard about it and gave two suggestions. One was to wear inserts in her shoes. It gave extra cushion for her feet. The other was to tape the big toe and the second toe together with bandage tape and then put on her socks. I don't think she did both remedies together but she has tried both and found them both to work. Perhaps they might help your shin splints???
