So we got together with a few families last night and played some games. Kids ran crazy, we parents played PIT, and most everyone ate way too much. I made one of my favorite dips... and ate and ate. The only regret is waking up the next morning with the worst breath because those dang red onions NEVER give up. Yum-O.

Yet another reason I don't eat onions.
I'm glad the onions stayed down long enough to give you bad breath:)
Yeah, me too actually!
I love activities like that! Sometimes it's fun to just play around and let the kids go wild!
Red onion breath. Did you brush your teeth at least before typing the post? I am just asking. I swear I smell dip.
Glad you enjoyed the good food, don't worry about the breath. Did your pit game have the bell? I've played both ways and the bell just adds a whole lot more fun!!
I've been munching on a Mediterranean pasta salad for the past two days and it's chock full of feta AND red onions...maybe we should hang out since no one else will be able to stand us!
Yes, it had the bell.... Jeremy and I both agreed it is much more enjoyable with a bell!
That sounds like a fun night, I wouldn't mind your onion breath because I'd be digging into the dip with you. Too bad my hubby hates them.
Sounds like your night was fun. Good ole onions. I don't like them, unless they are cooked and the taste is disguised! :)
Perfect way to spend FHE!
I love pit. We played that as a family growing up. Talk about an obnoxious game--that's what makes it so fun. And we had the bell too.
Mmm dip.
I saw something today about red onions. If you soak them in cold water for 5 minutes, it takes away potency but not flavor! Awesome!
That makes me think of one of my favorite movie lines -
"bad breath, it's morally clean!"
LOL
