Retro Cake

I created this cake for a friend's birthday this weekend.
And I finally posted something new on the family blog as well.
Enjoy the cooler weather, this weekend's heat told me how NOT ready for summer I am.

Cute cake Heather. You are so awesome. The warm weather was nice, but yeah, I'll have a huge adjustment to the heat again!

That's one lucky friend! Good job on the cake. This weather is driving me crazy. It's better when we have a gradual warm-up instead of cold windy weather, and then bam - 80 degrees and sunny. Come back to us sun! When is your baby due? (are you so sick of that question?)

Okay-
how do you find the time to blog every day and make adorable cakes like that? How's your pregnancy going? So fun to read all of your posts. I like the summary of all of your unknown "blog friends." Whatever happened with the couch cake making it onto cake world? You go girl!

That cake is amazing! And I didn't know you don't like hot weather...if it makes you feel any better it snowed in Provo today, and I don't like the snow
