Memory Lane

Here is a fun little game, but I'm changing it because it's my blog and I can. So leave a comment about a memory you have of me. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time or a long time, or only in cyberspace (cuz I've never met my friend Kristen in real life, but my favorite memory of her is when she forgot to put a bra on one Sunday morning and had to present Sharing Time. Sorry... but you are NEVER gonna live that one down. It's just too hilarious.) It can be funny, embarrassing, whatever. Anything that you remember!

Come on, I promise it will be fun. I think...

So, honestly I don't have any memories of you....except GNO's. Maybe I need to get to know you better... :)

Are you talking about me...being braless?
My first memory of you? I think it is at girls camp? You were very organized, fun and REAL with the girls! I was really impressed by that! What I love most about you...is how calm you are! You are amazingly calm! That is why you are so good with kids!

A specific memory is hard - after all I haven't seen you in like 11 years or something...what I remember most is how spunky you were/are. Confident is another good word, happy in your skin...whether that is true or not, it has always been my perception. I was amused when you posted pics of you with curly hair too since I can't ever remember seeing you with your hair anything but long and straight STRAIGHT.

So many memories of Heather. It really is hard to pick just one.

The first time I met you was at your wedding reception. It was kind of cool listening to this beautiful bride talk about meeting her husband while river rafting.

I remember you and Jeremy stopping by that Saturday morning and we were both just pregnant with the boys. You were not feeling so hot, and I think we gave you a popscicle. Now that I look back, why didn't we give you something better? Yeah, sorry about that.

How 'bout the time that we all kept you out at Kristin's house until 2am cuz we were all chatting. I felt so bad that we kept you out so late, especially since you fell asleep on Kristin's couch!

I remember your poor ankles when you were almost to the end of your pregnancy with Kaden. I felt SO bad for you!

How about your dogs that peed all over your air conditioner?

I remember going to your house a few nights after we finally brought Jake home from the hospital so that we could see each other's baby. They were so dang cute!

Donuts. You make the best donuts!

Of course wearing braces together. That was awesome!

See, there are too many to count!

I've only met you once in Calgary when you and Jeremy came up after your wedding but I thought you were awesome and so much fun. I love your blog because it is always so fun to read and always makes me laugh. It is really the only "memories" I have of you.
I look forward to meeting you again some day!

Uh, I remember when you left a comment on my blog a couple weeks back. Sorry, that's all I got.

Heather oh Heather,

I remember so many wonderful and fun moments. All the times you came to my house and I was feeling so stressed that every thing was not perfect, but you are so calming and open you make me feel so relaxed.
Thanks for feeding me lunch every time I come to your house. Even your mac and cheese is great.

I don't know if I have a specific memory - I just love being around you. I think you're hilarious and say the funniest things.

I hope this isn't too personal, but I remember when you found out you were pregnant with #2 and you were like, we didn't think it would happen so soon. Why of all things do I remember this? Because you were thrilled and it was obvious you considered it a huge blessing.
A also remember talking to you in the park when I was pregnant with Britton. We talked about the baby we lost and and you wished me luck with my pregnancy, I appreciated that because it was a pretty nerve wracking time.

If I recall correctly, and I'm pretty sure I do, I first stumbled onto your blog via a picture of a cake you had done way back when. I seriously love cakes and fancy desserts, so I was interested in following your blog to see if you did anymore.
Alas, continuing reading has been a blast :) And it was fun to learn you were pregnant too!! Yay!

The Chinese fire drills on Lombard Street was pretty awesome, with the streaking through Super Saturday coming in at a very close second.

I can't remember correctly, but I think the first time I met you was when the guys were playing in that blasted dodge ball league. I'm still really embarrassed to admit my husband did that. Oh, well. Riley and I always enjoy our visits with you guys, we feel like we've known you forever. Oh, and let's not forget the awesome hostess that you were for the fabulous Cingular Christmas party. Do you remember the gift I got to open?

College was a fun time. I remember one late night when Kaylie drug me out of bed being silly wearing her bra on her head and somehow we ended up at your apartment and the bras ended up on the outside of everyones shirts. Too funny. And I remember you wearing your wedding dress in our apartment. You were so excited and very cute. By the way, those memories are safely in one of my scrapbooks. Pictures are great!

OH. MY. GOSH. Thanks for plastering that on your blog. For the record, I did go back home before I presented sharing time.

Geez, I wish I had something on you that was equally embarrassing....

How about all the times you've come out to Utah, staying like 10 minutes away, and never bothering to look me up? ;-)

I remember that time you invited our whole sunday school group over to play games, and only me and Nick showed up and you had made all that food. So we ate it all and played Battle of the sexes :)

Then coming over for dinner and you had Azteca or Fiesta (can't remember?) cater it! SO good, not to mention our "The Bachelor" parties, thanks for introducing Cinnabon popcorn to me, it changed my world!

Heather,
So I think that the best memory I can think of happened before you and Jer got married. Nathan and I were dating and took you to the airport to fly home before your wedding. You totally threatened the ticket agent about losing your luggage because it had your wedding dress in it. He finally cover the suitcase "FRAGILE" stickers. I can only imagine what he was thinking.

Heather, Heather. I love all the memories I have of you but one that I will mention is when you came to my house to do a Scentsy party and my neighboor started talking about her awesome "Passion" parties!!! She was so booked with hosting parties she had to really search for a day to have a Scentsy party with you. Remember that!!??

The time when Mel and I had 1 good hand between the two of us, and you showed up unannounced with dinner. Talk about an inspired VT!

But, I think my fav memory with you will always be that really great talk we had until the wee hours - when you said "The secret to having it all is believing you already do!" And I was SO impressed with how deep you are - and you were like - duh, it's on my blog.

Or how about the summer we had Nick and Kayden in Tiny Tots together. Those were some good times;)

You are one of my VERY favorite people!

The first time I met you, you were sitting in relief society totally pregnant with Kaden and wearing flip flops because your feet were so swollen.

One of the funniest memories was when I was holding baby Kaden and said, "Babies always cry when I hold them." Then the other person said, "Well, maybe it's because of your Oriental eyes."

Pumpkin carving/donut eating always a fun time.

How about our egg roll/ wonton feeds!

Or Jared singing "Ella Beck Girl"

See--We always have fun memories together!

My favorite memory is of a post I once wrote where I was trying to be funny and you were the only one who saw through it. You sent me a note that made me burst into tears because somebody GOT IT.
You're amazing!!

I knew about you cuz of Sarah talking about Heather & Jeremy. Then I put the chain link together of how you were related to Jess and Andrea. I thought it was so cool how you commented on my blog when I first started it, even though we'd never met. I think the first time I met you in Real Person was at the RS Broadcast back in September. I thought you were so nice and we ended up talking til the Stake Presidency left. I'm pretty sure that Tiffani stayed and talked with us too and I was with Sarah and Rachel! Good Times.

My favorite memory is trying to figure out who this Heather chick was that was commenting on my blog....she seemed so familiar. Then I realized we knew each other through yw.

My memory of you is always and foremost you beautiful smile and vivacious personality. You simply care about others and I love that about you. Because you put them at ease around you and that is such a great gift. So being you is my favorite memory.

I don't really have a lot to go off of here so i guess we need to make more memories:) I do remeber one time you hosted an Alias night at your place and you were just so funny! I love your sense of humor and you are so creative it stinks.
