Phone Call

I got a crazy call this morning.

Yeah, it was Ellen DeG reminding me to get my annual mammogram.... what? Thanks, to my brother for that one. However my chest is in enough pain right now that I don't think I need to add one more torture treatment. I always forget how rough the first few weeks of nursing are.

Yipes!!

You know how gullible I am, but I'm going to ask anyway. Did she really call you???

SHEEZE! What is wrong with Ellen! Doesn't she know that sending a gift is a more appropriate thing to do after a baby comes?
I'd call her back and tell her. Seriously.

Tiffany-I'm guessing it was one of those new fangled automated phone calls since today is October 1st and it's breast cancer awareness month.

Heather- WHAT?!?!?! Breast feeding HURTS? It's not that beautiful hallmark moment you always see on TV and read about in books? I was seriously fooled this whole time! ;)

That is awesome!

I SO don't envy you right now and the soreness that comes with nursing...at least you'll be over the worst of it soon!

When I was pregnant with my first baby, a nurse told me to take a wash rag in the shower and...er... scrub myself to "toughen up". I laughed and didn't do it. Baby came and so did some pretty crazy blisters and cracking...
At least it doesn't last forever, right?

That's AWESOME! I mean the phone call, not the aweful pain. I hope it goes away soon.

I am sending over a bag of frozen peas....or lanolin? Which one?
Keep it up! It only gets easier!

I know what you mean about the soreness! Even the 4th time around it doesn't get any less painful. The only difference is you know what you are doing, what is happening, and that it will go away!
Pretty important to be getting a call from Ellen. j/k (although, I didn't get one... lucky)

Yeah, but it's so worth it holding that little baby.

Mammograms don't sound fun at all period, especially after you've had a baby! I have been meaning to come by all week, but then lytton got sick and i didn't want to bring him around. Anyways also i Tagged you!
