Ummm, yeah. About that...

We had our Visiting Teaching Conference on Thursday, complete with dinner. It was awesome. Except for one part. Yeah, the part where about 5 people asked me how the Triathlon training was going. Kind of humiliating to admit that I hadn't even started.

Today I decided to remedy that. I went for a run. And when I say "went for a run" I mean I had Jeremy strap on the arm band for the ipod and left the house hoping to make it about 4 blocks. Happy to report I ran two miles without stopping! Yes, it was a slow two miles but I have no pride. I'm totally gonna pat myself on the back. So ladies feel free to keep asking because training has officially begun, I think.

After that dinner last night, how you were able to run to the mailbox without stopping is beyond me. You are awesome.

I'm hoping that all the insane biking I'm doing will somehow carry me through the running part. Do you think it will work???

You go girl. That's just awesome. I'll be cheering you on from the sidelines of course. No exercising from me for another 3 months! :) Great Job!

Way to go Heather! The first two miles are the hardest! It's all downhill from here...ok, probably not, but every bit counts!

That's two more miles than I could do. I think you should be feeling pretty good about yourself.

You are awsome. You should totally pat yourself on the back for doing 2 miles. There are not many people, let alone moms, that can do that.

In show of my support, I am yelling "Yay Heather!" in my kitchen and eating 4 chocolate chip cookies in your honor. Like I've said before, I'm a giver.
