Murphy is way too Interested in my Life

Murphy's law.... not so much a fan. Shocker, I know.

Yesterday it was 67 degrees- 67, people! That's warm for this time of year. Needless to say I was thrilled because I in my mind I made plans to do some staining today. Yeah, I had grand plans until I woke up to frost. Right now the temperatures is currently 38. **FYI staining isn't really do-able in temps under 50.**

So now I'm stuck baking pumpkin for puree {which is the obvious crappier option of my "projects" for the day} instead of staining like I really want to be.

WaRnInG: Murphy you just might want to find someone else to stalk, cuz I'm really getting sick of you hanging out over my shoulder. I think you've forgotten that mastered the "rear naked choke" at enrichment last month. Don't make me use it.

Ok, first of all what is the naked choke hold thing, and secondly I was thinking the same thing as we drove home from church yesterday with the sun shining. Riley commented on how it would have been the perfect day to mow the lawn one last time before it got too cold. Hope you get at least one last sunny warm day this week to get your projects done.

It's a defensive choke hold- often used in MMA fighting. We had a self defense night at enrichment, and that was one of the techniques demonstrated.

Yeah, Murphy needs to leave you alone! Hopefully the hours that you spend making pumpkin puree will pay off in the form of many lovely pumpkin filled desserts to come! (I plan on doing mine in the next couple of days...I've never done it before, so I'll let you know how it goes)

I've got Murphy against me too. The one time we plan a trip 3 months in advance, and now Elder Holland comes to visit the Pasco Stake the one Sunday we will be gone! UGH! :) Good Luck with your projects. It's been cold all day!

It went from 67 to 38 in ONE DAY? That crazy Murphy dude! :)

Halloween night the weather here was perfect, but three nights before that, when we had our ward Halloween party OUTSIDE, a crazy cold windstorm crept up on us! It was as cold as we get in January! BRRR!

On cold days, just abandoned all hopes of work and snuggle up with a book. That's the way I would stick it to murphy.
