Daytime TV

I'm all about viewing in the evening hours.
But the daytime, I have no interest.
Absolutely no soaps! Gag me with a spoon.
I don't watch Oprah (I just don't think about it).
Dr. Phil is out
(a little too disturbing sometimes and the language is getting ridiculous).
And really, what else is there???
Well, let me tell you...
Run's House on MTV.
Totally funny and probably would get a rating of PG.
I've been hooked for about 6 months and thought I should let the world know.

To bad I only get 5 channels, I'll have to come to your house to watch!

It's totally funny! You will love it... I promise. Maybe we could start getting together for that since Alias is gone.

I've never heard of Run's House. I don't watch Dr. Phil for the same reasons you listed, but I do love me some Oprah!

I am proud to admit that I am no longer a soap watcher!!! It's been a few months, and I do not even miss them! Yay me! If I do watch TV in the daytime, it's usually re-runs of "What Not to Wear" or Food Network. I love Paula Deen and Ina Garten. They are both avid butter users. That alone is enough to have me hooked!

Something on MTV that's rated PG? Wow. Never heard of that one.

Most daytime TV is garbage. If I am home and surfing channels, I try to find some reruns (Full House, Cosby Show, etc).

Oprah kinda bugs. Sometimes she has great shows; sometimes I feel like she's pushing an agenda.

I'm like you - I never even turn on the TV during the day - unless I'm watching something on TIVO. I'll have to TIVO Run's House and tell you how it goes!

Love the banner, and the color changes!

I can't wait to hear what you think Randi.

I've never watched Run's House. I read an article on them though and heard how this season focuses on them losing their baby and how their faith got them through this hard period in their lives. It made me want to tune in at the time, but now that you recommended it as well, I may have to check it out.

I've been watching Run's House for a while and think it's a fun show about a real family. Riley has his last game tonight and then we should be done with soccer. YAY! Unless Southridge by some miracle wins and then it's on to districts. yay. So that means we have more time to do something with you guys. What's your schedule like next week?

aren't all these blogs soap operas?

Another good show that we like to watch is Little People, Big World on TLC. It's something everyone in our family will watch, which is very rare.

I love Little People, Big World too. At my house all we watch during the day is Backyardigans, and the Wonder Pets. I love when I can watch anything on TLC durning the day. I have never heard of Runs House. I may have to check it out.

Little People, Big World is a family favorite here too!! Next week Jeremy is working splits...ugh.

Ah Heather, I knew we were kindred spirits. I have never watched daytime TV a day in my life. I don't do Oprah, I despise soaps down to the depths of my very soul, and HGTV and the like do absolutely nothing for me. I know, I must not be a real girl or something. We watch movies here. All day long.
