STOP! You Could DIE!

What is the facination with putting things around your neck when
you are three?
Today Kadester has tried putting a belt,
a fake pearl necklace,
sewing measuring tape,
and a tie
around his neck
all in noose-like fashion.
It's 9:23 am.
Will this ever end?

Yeah... it will end. My son liked to wrap things around his arm and watch his fingers turn purple... I talked to him about how his blood is in his body and it needed to carry good things EVERYWHERE! When he wrapped things around his arm it stopped the good stuff from getting to his arm and we wanted his arm to be STRONG :) Just a thought...

I think it stops right when they enter the MTC.

Good luck with that!

Hannah and Josh still have this fascination too. What's the deal?

It will only stop when he realizes how fun it is to put things around Brynners neck, or at least that is when Tia decided to stop! Poor Howie!

Ok, Jess. You are right. He has started to wander down that path as well...

Maybe he will move on to putting things over his head like Kendle. No matter how many times I tell her not to put plastic bags and things like that over head she doesn't listen. They do know how to give us a good scare don't they.

Jessica's comment totally made me laugh! Carson is constantly trying to put things around Kaiya's neck. The other day they were playing pet shop and she was his dog.

Thanks for the comment! It made me totally happy to know that you took the time to read what I had to say! And the whole neck thing.... I agree with Jessica!

My kids have never got into that... at least not yet anyways. I have had to worry about the small objects they seem to like to put up thier nose.

Kim, Jessica knows all about that too!! That Tia has prepared her for everything!

Hannah- I loved what you wrote, and I'm glad you stopped by!

I once had a photographer tell a group of women and mostly mom's: Take pictures first, discipline second. The discipline will always be there later. Have fun!
