Girls Camp is calling

The best part of camping is the fire. It's not real camping if you don't sit around the campfire for hours on end. I'll be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for Camp Zarahemla- wish me luck!
AND if anyone has any suggestions for our FHE activity tomorrow I'm still debating. What would you want to do out in the woods?? The theme tomorrow is Power in the Holy Ghost. And the stake says "short lesson, big activity" which I agree with, but I feel a ton of pressure to come up with something fabulous for our ward. Comment and give me some more ideas.

Oh wow... hmmm... short lesson, big activity? Let me do some thinking and I'll get back to you... the one thing that comes to mind is pairing the girls up and blindfolding one of the girls and she has to guide the other one through an obstacle course or something like that using only her voice... hmm... I'll keep thinking!

okay - I just re read that... and it makes it sound like the blindfolded girl will be doing the guiding... sigh... OKAY - try again - pair the girls up, one is the guide, the other is blindfolded... I hope this makes sense...lol

I've got nothing in this brain of mine. I like the Object lesson website that Melissa gave you though! Looks like all the creative bloggers are either at camp too, or just busy. Nobody has updated their blog today, myself included, except you!! Bummer week in Blog world! Have a fun time and I can't wait to hear about the BIG activity!

Girls' camp.....you know I'd struggle with that one. But have a good time! And that activity suggested above sounds good; I lack in creativity, so that's hard for me to come up with stuff. Good luck.

Yeah, good luck with that. Although I'm pretty late reading this so it's probably all over and done with. I'm sure it was great. I'm amazed at how all you ladies are so excited to be going to Girls' Camp. Wild horses couldn't drag me there. I hated it when I was a Y.W.!

Alicia, I didn't enjoy girls camp as a Y.W. either, but I had a blast as a leader. I seriously can't wait to go back next year!

I was wondering the same thing as krisnkrew... how did the Tri go?? I went to the website to see if they had results posted, but it said it would take 5-7 days...
