Making History...

Our Bishop mentioned quite a few times yesterday that we were "making history".... ya know because its a brand spankin' new ward. I get it, and I think it's cool. There were lots of firsts yesterday.

However, I wish I didn't have make history by being "the first mother to haul her screaming child out of the otherwise reverent 1st EVER 9th Ward Sacrament meeting."

I think that's considerably better than 1st mother to let her child scream through and disrupt sacrament meeting!
So good job - and I'm so sorry.

Hey Brynlee just wanted to leave her mark on history too!

To be honest, I didn't even hear her crying, so good job mama!

I also love that he said we were making history. I had never thought of it like that.

I second randi's comment. Better to take them out than disturb the meeting. So, way to be on top of that (I wish more mothers in my ward would follow suit).

I feel for you. I was the first to have to leave after the sacrament was passed and then before long about ten other people had joined me. It was so loud out in the foyer.I wish our buildings had cry rooms.
