Tidings of Great Joy

A great way to feel the true spirit of the Christmas is to watch "The Nativity" produced by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with the sound down and Amy Grant's Breath of Heaven playing. Look! The work has already been done for you by some generous soul. {you really can find anything on youtube}
Enjoy one of my favorites, and your weekend.

You're right, it's the perfect thing to put you in the real Christmas spirit!
(I love that the work is already done. I never time it quite right!)

Every year for at least one FHE we turn off all the lights except for the ones on the tree and we watch this! We also try to watch it again on Christmas Eve... such a wonderful video!!

I've never thought to turn the sound down and have Amy Grant's music in the background. It was beautiful!

Ok, so I remember our gospel doctrine teacher doing this several years back. I'm sure she had announced the artist, but I was half listening and then thinking through the presentation. It does sound like Amy Grant, but it can't be; you can't play that kind of stuff in church....but I was mesmerized by the beauty of it. So I casually asked her afterward, and sure enough she confirmed that it was. I part chuckled and part rolled my eyes at this maneuver.

This is actually the one Amy Grant song I can tolerate.

But, having said all that, it is a very beautiful song and goes quite nicely with the video.

Okay so I am a few Post late on making this comment but I haven't been on for a little while. I TOTALLY freaked out with the whole "Your Pregnant" post. I yelled "WHAT!!" so loud my family was like mom, what's up. I think I would have been so mad at the nurse, but then laughed about it later. WOW! You are such a good sport.
