Finding Joy in the Journey

Yes, we are fine. Yes, it sucks. Yes, life is still good.

Jeremy and I, unfortunately, aren't strangers to the jobless scene. I've heard this news before, 6 weeks away from having a baby and planning to quit my job. Plans changed, but it all worked out in the end. We've lived through it before and come out ok, so it makes it a little easier to believe that this go around will be no different. There is still always still fear and anxiety in the back of your mind, but Jeremy and I both know it will be ok.

Life does go on, and we can still find the good because it is always there. Sometimes you just have to look harder than others. While cleaning out the "home office" I ran across some old pictures. Pictures I had forgotten about, but that bring great memories.
Seriously, how cute is that?
Speaking of cute. Look how cute that Tiffany is pregnant. While telling Tiff about this picture she insisted that I post it so she could see it, overalls and all. This was taken at my "surprise" baby shower for Kaden. Surprise because Tiff accidentally spilled the news while she and Kristin were driving me to our "Girls Night Out" cover for the baby shower.
I think I can safely say we have all gotten better with age.

**There are plenty more pics with familiar faces. I may post those in the future. Will the suspense of finding out who was there keep you on the edge of your seat??

Your post reminds me of my favorite President Hinckley quote:
"It will all be ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end."

I'm glad you have calmness.

Hey! Maybe you guys will find a job in Denver!

You do have a great attitude! That was one of the first things I thought of Tuesday night when I saw you at Enrichment. It IS going to be okay, and I'm glad that you and Jeremy are feeling comfort through this hard time.

Okay...WHAT WAS I THINKING asking you to post this?!!! I look straight up 14 in this picture! 14 and pregnant. Yup, that's what I look like. So funny!!! And yes, thankfully we do get better with age!

I just want to add my thoughts to every one else. we are thinking of you guys and your in our prayers! I guess since Jeremy has some free time you all could go on a road trip to see us! ha! just kidding, but for real that's what mike and I have done the last two times he has been out of a job. Its good for us to be as a family and just re-evaluate. But just know we love you.

That's funny boo. We totally were like, "Dang. We should just go to Utah."

But the whole saving money and looking for a job won over. Maybe Cali will be in our future soon though!

We totally know how you feel! Cyril was laid off in January and it's been a tough couple of months without a single prospect. After we went to the temple last week to be sealed as a family we got home and there was a phone call offering him a job!!

I can't believe that is Tiffani! LOVE the overalls.

I hope your joblessness doesn't last too long. I'm so impressed by your attitude about it!

I remember that baby shower too and it was at Cyndy's. I think I was pregnant too??? Or just had a baby?? I remember feeling "fat."

News like this stresses me out. So if you could work out your job situation like, pronto, I would really appreciate it. Because remember? It stresses ME out. And it always comes back to being about me.

Seriously though, good luck. Sending love your way, as well as a few fliers on homes for sale next door to me.
