Ok. Sorry for the confusion.
I thought it would be cute to display a ticker for my countdown to a slick, braces-free smile. I had a few problems. First off it wouldn't fit, and then meltdown central with kids came my way. I wasn't able to adjust the ticker so I just left it, not even thinking twice about it.
Later on I get the call. I wonder to myself why Tiffani would be calling at 8:30 on a Friday night, probably just to tell me how much my friendship means to her, really I was totally flattered.
"What's the ticker on your blog for? Are you pregnant? I just talked to Kim and she wondered if you were too. We thought you might be since the countdown starts with 9 months. "
Seriously. It went that way- I'm not sure Tiff even paused for a breath!
In short- No I'm not pregnant. Sorry to disappoint. I just started something and didn't quite get it finished... which tends to happen a lot more these days.
The up side is I got a comment on my blog. Maybe I should make fake pregnancy tickers more often, it might help the traffic or excitement on this lagging blog.
I love you Tiff, even if you just call to see if I'm yaking my brains out with baby #3.

Okay, I didn't talk to Kim, I just saw her comment on your post. So actually she's the one who got me wondering!!! I'm glad you're not yakin your brains out too! But seriously what else do you think a bunch of women in their child bearing years are going to think if you put a ticker counting down 9 months!! LOL!
And your friendship is awesome by the way!!!!
I love it Heather! Good to know other people get interrupted while doing important things. I think you should redo your ticker and time it in weeks, that way we'll all know your talking about the "baby" ;)
That's exactly why I asked. A countdown starting at 9 months means only one thing. There's nothing wrong with having baby #3 right now! Get busy Heather!
Thats what I say to Heather Lets get busy!!
Come on Heather you know your clock is "ticking"!! Go for the 3rd one, then you can feel insane all the time, just like me! HAHA!
P.S. So when do the braces come off? How exciting. And don't let anyone pressure you into baby #3. I'm three and a half years and going strong!
That is hilarious. And Heather, I'm officially offended. "You never get posts"? Uh, I believe if you scroll downwards and check each post you will find I have responded on probably all but two. But I see how you are. Now I need one of those phone calls from you telling me just what my friendship means to you if we are ever going to get past this....*sob*
