Valentine's Surprises

For six years now I have gotten out of bed early to create
Pink Heart Pancakes
for Valentines Day Breakfast.
I started this the first year Jeremy and I were married and it has continued on. It is a tradition I hope my family will look back on fondly.
I loved seeing Kaden and Brynnlee's surprise this morning as they realized there were "special" treats waiting for them on their breakfast plates.
One of my favorite things about being a parent is getting the chance to create magical holiday memories that will last forever! Hope you have some magic of your own today!

Love it! I love doing things like this and hope our future kids have fond memories too.
I have heard of doing acts of kindness on Groundhog's day and leaving a Groundhog paw print where you did it. Like make their bed or do another chore for them.

We have green dinner and lime sherbet and sprite floats for St. Patty's day. I could go on and on.

I always dream of being the wife and mother that does this sort of thing, but yet, year after year I'm lucky if I get the cards made and the gifts bought, wrapped and given before bedtime.

This breakfast plate looks like something out of the Martha Stewart magazine. What a fun tradition.

HA! Funny that you should mention that Kristy- it IS from Martha's website. I didn't think to take a pic before, so i scrounged and found this online! I just wanted to give you an idea of how cute they turned out, but NO this is not my actual table presentation.

I love that. You are so right your family will have fun memories of that. Last year we started a new tradition as a family we have a "fancy dinner" by candlelight. As soon as we finished with dinner last night my five year old boy wanted to plan what we would have for dinner next Valentines Day. By the way you do not know me, but my husband knows your husband from school. You have a fun blog.
