Colors of the Wind

Life is really moving on; everyone and their dog seems to be getting new jobs, selling houses, totally changing careers, having another baby, selling all their baby stuff... Do you know anyone right now who isn't going through a huge change in their lives? Something is changing for everyone, or at least everyone I know.

It makes me excited, but at the same time I'm a little bit sad. I'm excited because it means great adventures are in store and big changes that friends have worked hard for are finally being realized. But what I realize is that my world isn't the same- my relationships are different, my neighbors are different, my calling is.... oh wait- scratch that. But in reality as much as I love change, it is still hard for me to completely let go and let things evolve.

The weather is turning cooler, school is starting, and there are FOR SALE signs everywhere, and even Jeremy has decided to take a new job.

Change really is in the wind.

How exciting for Jeremy! What will he be doing now?

I've been feeling the same way. Everything IS changing. But change is good, it keeps life moving forward.

I've never been really good at change... But it sounds like you've got some exciting things coming!

I finally feel like we for once in several years are settled.. crazy how things balance out. But for the past three years we have had tons of change. I am enjoying the peace of feeling settled.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm not pregnant, we're not moving, and no new jobs for us!

But I know what you mean. Change is everywhere and it does seem like our circle has plenty of it going on.

Here's to the adventures that lie ahead!!!

I've been thinking about this same thing lately. I have to remind myself that change is good... Change is good...Change is good.

Well Karen you moved like 3 months ago, so you are off the hook.

Jeremy is working as the corporate liason for University of Phoenix.

M-F will be a new thing for us, but a great change.

Congrats on Jeremy's Job! That is soo cool! Change is exciting, but scary too! I know what you mean about houses being for sale! There are a ton in my neighborhood that are for sale and it's mind boggling especially since this neighborhood is only a year old! Good luck with the new job!

Good for Jer. It's nice to have them home on the weekend. There is more time for family time and for dad's to see the kids grow up. Congrats.

We are going through change too as Sean is goign to school to finish his plumbing apprenticeship. 2 more intakes after this one. It's just stressfull when the bread winner isn't earning any bread at all for 2 months.
