Thanks for the indulgence...

So the last few posts have been whiney, I know. What can I say? On my list of things I'm good at Pregnancy will NEVER make the cut. I'm fairly confident that I would have been ok being a poineer woman, unless I had to be pregnant. Then I would have dug my own grave, tossed myself in, and pulled the dirt on top. I'm only a fan of the product of pregnancy not the process.

That being said I'm well again.

I got a perscription on Tuesday and the side affects were less than desirable. At one point I walked into the office crying to Jeremy and I think he thought I was having a nervous breakdown. Needless to say we nixed those pills and called the doctor AGAIN to try something new. Now I'm on some pills used for chemotherapy and radiation patients to control nausea. Let me tell you they are a girls best friend- or at least this girls best friend. The down side is that this perscription costs us about $200 just in copays a month. But at this point I'm willing to pay whatever the grim reaper is asking.

Last night at dinner Kaden announced that he had a great idea on how we could change the furniture in his room to fit the baby in there. And then after I put him to bed a few hours later he took a pillow, a blanket, and his very favorite snuggle bear {that he sleeps with every night} and made a bed for the baby on the floor. He is so excited and is convinced that I will be bringing home a little brother named Scott for him any day now. It is so sweet, I hope he's still this excited if in 33 weeks we bring home a little girl.

Heather, you are hilarious. I'm glad that you are feeling better despite the big bucks! Big Bummer, but like you said, sometimes, it's worth it! Kaden sounds like he'll be an awesome older brother when little Scottie arrives....!

You are so funny! At least you could have pulled off the pioneer thing w/o being pregnant... I would never have made it pregnant or not!

Oh I remember all too well. I had IV's in me for 3 months and threw up all 9 with Mattie. I was so sick. Nothing worked. I would have paid big bucks too. Glad it is helping you. Take Care sweetp.

That is so sweet!
I always thought I would rather be in labor than pregnant. My friends thought I was nuts, but honestly, pregnancy did not hold my best moments.
I felt a lot like the alien host.

I'm so glad you got some medicine! It makes all the difference in the world. I would not have survived without it.

Maybe you could babysit like, 12 more kids to pay for the medicine...just a thought. :)

I'm glad you found something that works. I would have paid anything to feel better, even if it was just for a little while. When I was pregnant with Cameron, the doctor gave me a prescription with the instructions, "take on a full stomach"! If I could keep something in my stomach, I wouldn't need the drugs!!!

I'm so glad you found something to help!! Hopefully the nausea will go away soon and you won't have to take them any more!

I'm so glad you found something that worked. When I was pregnant I begged and begged for some anti-nausea meds and they pretty much laughed at me. I was so ticked, but I guess when you're not throwing up AT ALL they don't take you very seriously.

Kaden's little makeshift crib was just about the cutest thing ever. And I love his little 4 year old thinking that it'll be any day now.

I'm so glad you have good medicine and are feeling better. What a life saver! And Kaden's version of a bed is pretty cute. He will make a great big brother.Where did he come up with the name Scott?

My mom planted the idea of Scott in Kaden's mind one time and he hasn't forgotten it. Scott is Jeremy's dad's name.

Pregnant women have every right to complain. It is hard. Especially when you still have to be mom to already birthed children. No sick days for mommies. It is hard. So go ahead and complain.

But, I am glad you are feeling better.

OH, if it works, I think 200 is totally worth it. Nothing is worse than throwing up, especially all day long!

That is so cute about Kaden- he is going to make such a good big brother.

I would have been a terrible pioneer.

Oh Heather! I am so glad to hear that the new meds are working! And how cute is Kaden? I wonder how he'll feel with the baby crying all night?

I am so glad you are feeling better, nothing is worse then having other kids to take care of when you feel like you can't even move. Kaden is so cute, I love the fact that he is so excited about the baby. let me know if you need anything.

Meds are such a blessing. Now if they were only on that Walmart $4 plan. Why is nothing I need on that plan?
How cute of Kaden! A baby bed made up of his very own pillow, blanket and snuggle bear. He sounds like he's going to be a great big brother!

Where have I been? I didn't know you were expecting. Congratulations! And you probably don't want to hear that I LOVED being pregnant! I always felt that "glow" and felt healthy. I'll truly miss that part in my life. I'm glad that you're feeling better.

Kaden is such a sweetie! I'm so glad you got a record of his tender gesture for his next sibling. AND I'm so glad you are feeling better! The cost sucks, but it sounds worth it!
