So anyone who knows me knows I don't get out enough to run errands mid-day very often. Today was another story I ventured out and here are some laugh inspiring thoughts from my two favorite kids.
Kaden: "Mom can you please turn off Dave Ramsey?"
Me: It's not Dave Ramsey, it's Glenn Beck but do you want me to turn him off?
Kaden: Yeah.
Brynnlee: Mom, go fast!
Me: I'm going fast.
Brynnlee: Go faster!
Kaden: NO! What? Do you want her to go to jail?
Kaden: I thought we were going to Richland.
Me: For what??
Kaden: Remember? So I could make my "uhposit" at the bank.
Me: Oh, yeah.
I really should get out more often....

Car ride conversations are the best.
I love that go fast. Carter likes to say that when there is a slow car in front of us.

we have many a conversation like that in our car too. my kids like me to sing for them (heaven only knows why. . .)then they demand certain songs over and over, but if it keeps them from screaming, I will do it!
Next time Kaden wants you to turn off Glenn Beck you should tell him it's his long lost uncle you're listening too. Ha!The things they said cracked me up.
Kaden knows what is going down! The fact that he knows who Dave Ramsey is?? Keeps you on your toes, I am sure.
Errands with the Becks sounds so fun. I loved this. Totally reminiscent of our errands. Today Payson was like, "So, first Target and then WalMart?"
me: "No, we're not going to WalMart, just Target." Payson: "Oh, so Target is by WalMart." Huh? Don't you just love this age?
I love that your kids know the talk radio hosts. That's hilarious!

How funny! Your kids are great. I think that LD would also say to turn off Dave Ramsey, if he could talk that much! I love him. Not as huge a fan of Glenn Beck, but I still listen to him off and on.
when my kids were little the one place I avoided taking them to at all costs was the mall - when my daughter was 5 I had to take her, and she walked in, looked around in awe as she held my hand and said, "What IS this place?" So sad.
I heart you so much. You make my day so often.

My kids know glen beck very well, along with Ramsey...and Dr. Laura!!! I love talk radio!
My favorite thing to do is to take kids with me on errands...serious! They keep me company! Plus I have an excuse to by a drink at McDonalds!
